As announced by the returning officer of the election, Ahmadu Fintiri who is the incumbent governor of ths state scored a total of 430, 861 votes to defeat the candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Aisha Binani who got 396,788.
Governor Finitri wins Adamawa State Governorship Election with 430,821 votes to defeat Aisha Binani who scored 396,788 votes.
