Bode Itaapa & Others' Alleged Murder Case: Court adjourns ruling in bail application






Justice Obiora Uguwatu of Federal High Court 10 has adjourned for ruling following a bail application made by the defence counsel of Olubode Owoeye A.K.A Bode Itaapa and David Samuel (DEFENDANTS) case number NO: FHC/ABJ/CR/323/2024  standing trial for allegedly conspiring with others to commit felony. 


KAKAKIOODUA recalls that the Inspector General of Nigeria Police Force (COMPLAINANT) is facing Olubode Owoeye A.K.A Bode Itaapa and David Samuel (DEFENDANTS) in the Federal High Court Of Nigeria holden at Abuja.


The 7-count charges by the Inspector-General of Police informed the court that Olubode Owoeye a.k.a Bode Itaapa and David Samuel alongside other cohorts now at large between 2021 and 2022 conspired with others to commit felony to wit: Acts of Terrorism by moving well armed with the aim to create fear in minds of the residents  and killed the following persons; (1) Sigo 'm' (Deceased) (2) Eleran 'm' Deceased) (3) Tafa 'm' (Deceased) and Sikiru Omo Alhaja 'm' (Deceased). 


At the hearing, the defendants plea was taken where they pleaded not guilty.


The defendants Counsel, Dr. Igwe ACP (RTD) had moved bail application on behalf of the defendants whereas the prosecution counsel also moved that the court should refuse the bail application. 


Consequently, the trial judge on Monday adjourned the ruling on the application for bail to 29th October, 2025.
