Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ijesaland Receive Chieftaincy Certificates....Read Their Legendary Feats






Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi and Yeye Asiwaju Dr. Olubisi Fasuyi today received the chieftaincy title certificates as the Asiwaju of Ijesaland and Yeye Asiwaju of Ijesaland respectfully.

The presentation of the certificates was performed by the Owa Obokun Adimula of Ijesaland Oba Adekunle Aromolaran CFR, LLD in his new palace.


Great men are honoured for pushing a course beyond the regular and normal. Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi was initially conferred as Asiwaju of Ilesa on the 22nd October, 2016 with his darling wife Dr Olubisi Fasuyi as Yeye Asiwaju of Ilesa same day.


The coronation of the conferment of Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju of Ilesa will never be forgotten in the entire history of Ijesaland for generations to come because of the magnitude of high profiled people both at home and in diaspora that came to honour the well-deserved son and daughter of Ijesaland.


Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi was further honoured with the chieftaincy of Balogun of Ijebu-Jesa on February 6, 2019 for his numerous contributions to promoting unity, peace, and development in Ijesaland, his native place of birth.


One would recall that this highly deserved elevation of the titles of Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi and Yeye Asiwaju Dr Olubisi Fasuyi was strategically announced to the whole world by His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran II, CFR, LLD. The Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, on Saturday 26th December, 2020 at the commissioning of the most beautiful Palace edifice, in appreciation of the Project initiated and championed by Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi.

He initiated and championed the construction of the massive, monumental and iconic building of an ultra-modern Palace for the Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland within the incredible duration of NINE Months during the economically recessed time in the nation. 




Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi demonstrates uncommon passion for the development of Ijesaland, an attribute widely acknowledged by all Ijesas in the more than 86 Communities in Ijesaland both at home and in the diaspora. Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi’s passion and innate desire for a balanced development in Ijesaland propelled him towards an upsurge in health sector of the land. 




He initiated the ongoing plan for the construction of the SECOND GERIATRIC CENTRE IN NIGERIA IN IJESALAND.

He is an Economist with three Master's Degrees. He is a Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Management (FNIM), Fellow, Institute of Management Consultants (FIMC), Fellow, Nigeria Institute of Training and Development (FNITD), Fellow, Institute of Information Management (FIIM). 





Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi is a social influencer as a Socialite and Fashionista Extraordinaire. He is a Patron and former President of Ibadan Recreation Club (1902); the First Cosmopolitan Club in Africa, a member of Ibadan Golf Club, Ibadan Polo. Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi also belongs to Ijesa Felates Club, Ijesa Roots Club and Ijesa Sports Club; the foremost Social Clubs in Ijesaland.
