Disregard Fabricated Stories Portraying Crises In Osun APC About 2026 Governorship Election..... - Party Tells Members ...Says, State APC Is Solid, Impenetrable

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has told all the members of the party and supporters to disregard some sponsored stories orchestrated by the enemies of the party alleging crises within the party ahead of the 2026 governorship election in the state.

The Osun State chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Chief Kola Olabisi, on Thursday, stated that it was clear that some disgruntled politicians have enlisted the services of some hack writers to  promote falsehoods in order to unsettle the members and supporters of the party.

Lawal appealed to the genuine members of the party not to listen to the compositions being written by some enemies of progress in order to misinform the stakeholders of the party within and outside the state.

The state APC chairman explained that the party under his leadership in the state is formidable, impenetrable and indivisible.

He stated that those behind the rantings and conjectures decided to resort to the tactics as instruments of division within the Osun APC because of the rising profile of the party in the state.

Lawal assured the members and supporters of the APC in the state that the party's leadership is doing everything possible to ensure that it secures its rightful position in the state through the 2026 general elections.

In the state party chairman's words: "Let me repeat here again that there is no crisis in our party and among our leaders and there cannot be any crisis. They are all operating on the same page in the collective interest of our party.

"The stories you have been reading about unfounded crisis in our party are the wishful thinking of our detractors, which are only being manufactured by those who are feeling threatened by the rising profile of our party and its leader in the state, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, the immediate-past governor of Osun State now Minister of Marine and Blue Economy.

"I am imploring all our members not to lose sleep over the conjectures and disregard any invented misinformation meant to cause non-existing crisis in our party.

"Let us intensify our spirit of oneness with reference to our binding political ideal and do away with any side talk devised to divide and unsettle our members.

"Information has it that the successful sensitization tour of the state executive officers of the party to all the 30 local government council areas and the Area Office, has been the major reason for the uneasiness of those peddling the rumoured falsehoods against the party and the Minister.

"Another source of worry for the agents of the campaign of calumny against the opposition in the state was the recent presidential appraisal of all the serving ministers which placed Oyetola among the most performing ministers in the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

"My holistic advice for the enemies of progress wherever they may be who are behind the  promotion of the fabrication of the non- existing rifts in our party is to go back to their drawing board as this stratagem has failed woefully to achieve its diabolic mission and wicked intention", Lawal submitted.
