Nigeria Postal Service (NIPOST) Sports and Social Club the organizer of a biennial event called NIPOST Sports Festival where talented sportsmen and women of the agency across Nigeria assemble to compete for honours in various sporting events had officially announced that Ilesa, Osun State will host the 10th edition of the festival 2025 next August.
The NIPOST Sports Festival will run from Tuesday 26th to Friday 29th August, 2025.
The festival will Over 1000 athletes from all over Nigeria competing for honours in various sporting events such as athletics, badminton, egg race, football, lawn tennis, table tennis, volleyball, squash amongst others. The sporting events are expected to draw huge crowds.
Mrs. Osita Ogochukwu, NIPOST Sports and Social Club's Publicity Secretary in a chat with KAKAKIOODUA said the festival will bring bring people together and Dr. Bosun Tijani, Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy and Digital, the Postmaster General of the Federation and Chief Executive Officer of NIPOST, Mrs. Tola Odeyemi are expected in Ilesa.
Osita Ogochukwu said the highlight of the event will be the novelty football match between NIPOST top management captained by the Postmaster General/CEO versus the State Postal Manager’s team.
Consequently, the NIPOST Sports and Social Club had humbly requested for Ijesa sons and daughters, operators of businesses, Clubs and Societies, government agencies and parastatals to send goodwill messages., adverts and pictures in its 10th Bi-annual National Sports Festival brochure tagged llesa 2025, to advertise their products/services on the platform, while assuring massive publicity, client attraction and a great boost in product/services visibility.
