This publication is specially to honour Michael Adeboye Ashaolu the CEO of Eni Aponle Foundation who lost his mother to the cold arms of death on Monday the 13th of August, 2018 in their Iloro, Ilesa family home.
I find it appropriate at this time to identify with Boye Ashaolu at this time as I can imagine how he feels even as he is kilometers away in the diaspora. I know that this irreplaceable loss is profound, overwhelming and it is "his". He has lost the immediate elements of his past and present. I know the attachment he "Omo Iya Alakara" enjoyed with his departed mum to the extent that he adopted this acronym long time ago. I just can't find the words to sympathize with him. I can't. No one can.
So I release this publication to let him know that I am thinking about him. There are no words which I can say or write that will soothe his pain. I just want him to know that I am thinking about him and to let him know that I am offering my support in all I can do to give "Iya Alakara" a befitting burial that she deserves in her last sleep.
