The Vice Chairman of 2021 Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee, Chief Afolabi Igbaroola has expressed the readiness of Ijesa people for this year's edition of the annual festival of unity that brings all Ijesa people together, which grand finale is scheduled to hold in Ilesa, Osun State on 18th December, 2021.
Igbaroola stated this on Wednesday at the palace of the Ataoja of Osogbo, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Olanipekun Oyetunji, Laroye II while recalling that Owa Obokun Adimula Obarabara Olokunesin was the father of Prince Larooye Gbadewolu, the first Ataoja of Osogbo.
Oba Jimoh Olanipekun while accepting the invitation from the Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Adekunle Aromolaran II, CFR, LLD, renewed his commitment to stronger ties with Ijesaland and the Owa Obokun as he warmly received the Planning Committee members.
