Impact Knowledge Acquired At Training Workshops Effectively - Osun SUBEB Chairman, Famurewa charges members of staff






The Executive Chairman, Osun State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Hon. Ajibola Famurewa has enjoined members of staff of the board to ensure proper implementation of knowledge acquired at training workshops for quality Education delivery in schools.


Hon. Famurewa made this statement during the opening of a 5-Day training workshop on "Capacity Development On Leadership And Management Techniques_ organized for the agency staff at the National Institute For  Educational Training and Administration NIEPA, Ondo town in Ondo State.


The Executive Chairman said the training workshop is germane for the development of education, while enjoining participants at the workshop to make proper implementation of the knowledge acquired at the training in order to promote and continue to place the  governor Oyetola's led administration educational system to greater heights.





He added that child education should be taken with utmost sense of responsibility, saying that it will help in laying a solid education foundation for the kids while also  building a good legacy for the future generations.


The former Lawmaker in the Federal House of Representative, therefore urged the participants to key into the vision and mission of the agency by making concerted efforts at ensuring that all hands be on deck to deliver qualitative and functional education to future  generation.





In her goodwill message, the Director, Department of Education Services, Ministry of Defence, Abuja, Dr. Mrs Jolaoso Onuoluwapo, praised the NIEPA management for organizing the training workshop, while advising participants to embrace digital education as it is the main thing in the global scene at the moment.


Earlier in his welcome address, the Director General, NIEPA, Prof. Olivet Gagusha who was represented by the Burser of the Institute.Mr Kayode Osinuga urged Osun SUBEB to continue to map out strategies on schools management which involves both human and material resources so that learners could gain the necessary skills and acquire the necessary attitude which will mould them for the task ahead.


He implored participants to actively participate in the training workshop while imploring them to disseminate knowledge in accordance to the best of their ability so that desirous goals and objectives that called for the laudable program could be achieved.


In attendance were Osun SUBEB Commissioner Technical, Hon. Moshood Adekunle Oluawo, Commissioner Services,Hon. Emos Akindiya, the Executive Secretary, Mr Adeoye Bakare, Board Members representing Osun East and Central Senatorial Districts, Hon. Peter Ayoola Olajolo, and Hon. Ajiboye Ademola Adebiyi respectively.
