The Reason for Christmas Season reverberates at the Okunmadewa's Yearly Breakfast Fellowship ....

There is more to the mysterious and yet wondrous familiar story of the birth of Jesus Christ. As God aimed to make known that He is ready to help us even without the help of man. The conception of Jesus in the womb of a woman was owing to no man. Hence it is important to understand that the sole reason for celebrating this season is specifically to celebrate the reason surrounding the birth of Jesus Christ.

This same precept echoed in Ilesa, Osun State, when Pastor Mrs. Sola Awe who is the wife of Pastor Seun Awe both pastoring for the Victory Life Ministries International, when she addressed the gathering at the event of the 15th edition of the yearly breakfast fellowship organized by the family of Prof. Foluso Okunmadewa to appreciate the blessings and the protection enjoyed in the year that is ending, share the words of God with their guests and prepare with prayers for the new year 2023.

The breakfast fellowship dated back to 2008 and one other important highlight of the annual breakfast get-together is the recognition and appreciation of children of the family and of friends of the family that attained landmark educational and/or social achievements. Prayer points are also directed for Nigeria, Osun State, Ijesaland and families of participants before and after the guests were treated to a sumptuous breakfast.

Children of the family and of friends of the family that received gifts for graduating during the year are Miss Jesuferanmi Eso for bagging her first degree, Dr. Omoba Adetunji who became a medical doctor, Master Timileyin Daramola who graduated in the United Kingdom, and Boluwatife Ojo for her Masters Degree and for getting married in 2022.

For celebrating their 60th birthday in year 2022 Pastor Seun Awe, Mrs. Olubunmi Ojo and Mr. Oladimeji Lasore received gifts while Chief Dr. Omiwale who clocked 70 in the year 2020 but couldn't attend then, also received his gift.
