The people of Iragbiji in Boripe Council of Osun showed the immediate past Governor of Osun, Adegboyega Oyetola, pure and undiluted love as they turned out in their hundreds to welcome him home.
The crowd was intimidating. It could only have been mobilised by government. But Oyetola is no longer in government, at least for now. The message too was clear, as all those who came out in their hundreds did not mince words on the import of the gathering: They will double the votes they gave to Oyetola when they file out to vote in the February presidential election.
For the records, the PDP lost by 16, 000 votes during the July 16 governorship election in Boripe.
