Let's Exercise Patience For Tinubu's Administration - Ex-Health Minister Adewole Charges Citizenry

Former Minister of Health, Professor Isaac Adewole, has urged Nigerians to exercise patience with the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his lingering  genuine efforts to fix the nation.

The ex-minister of health who was also a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Oyo State, while speaking at the 40th anniversary of the celebration of healthcare delivery of the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, reminded the populace that it is always very tedious to reconstruct a project compared with starting same anew.

Adewole who was the chairman of the occasion disclosed that one does not need to be a soothsayer to notice, observe and conclude that President Tinubu means a real business in order to improve the fortune of this nation based on his daily activities in the office.

The former health minister who hails from Ilesa in Osun State stated that it was a thing of joy  for Nigerians that this political dispensation in the history of the country is about the first time that a willing President is in charge of the affairs of the nation.

He explained that President Tinubu is quite aware of what to do in order to attract qualitative governance for the people of this country and he has been working towards it assiduously.

The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State who is the chairman of the 11-man  repositioning committee of the party in the state, set up by former Governor Gboyega Oyetola,  tasked the citizenry to continue to pray for President Tinubu for divine guidance to realize his vision and dream for this country.

Adewole submitted that it would not be fair for the people to join the bandwagons of the opposition Peoples  Democratic Party (PDP) and the others to be shooting down the efforts of the government in its verifiable bid to improve the fortune of the nation.

He wondered why some members of the opposition are blindly criticizing President Tinubu over his delay in the declaration of his ministerial list when it is obvious that he is still operating within the ambit of the statutory coverage of 60 days.

In Adewole's words: "President Tinubu is a master of the political game who cannot be rushed to make hasty decisions and policies that might be later derided by the opposition."

"If the axiomatic expression of 'slow and steady wins the race ' has not lost its meaning, Tinubu deserves commendation instead of vilification by the agents of doom who have been masquerading like genuine political opposition.

"At the pace that President Tinubu is operating since the inception of the inauguration of his administration, it is a question of time for the nation's fortune to bountifully blossom again.

"As we don't have another country that we can call our own, let's join hands with the Tinubu presidency in order to turn the nation around", Adewole charged the citizenry.
