Alfa Abdul-Yasir Adeyemi Adeola has been installed as the Aare Egbe Isegun of Ijesaland.
The stool became vacant after the demise of late Oba Adetoyese Olakisan, Oba Ogboni Agbaye, Awise Iwase of Yorubaland who also tripled as the Aare Egbe Isegun of Ijesaland.
The ceremony which started inside the inner court of the ancient Okemese Palace, Adimula square, Ilesa, and finally culminated at the open court was held on Wednesday.

At the inner court, attendance of notable elegbes were recorded while some Omo elegbe (persons having predetermined link with extra-terrestrial confraternity) offered music with dancing before the installation ceremony proceeded to the shrine dedicated to Esu, the Chief Enforcer of natural and divine laws.
The spirit of Esu deity was invoked to protect, guard the new Aare Egbe who was charged to be pious and morally upright.
The installation proper was conducted by Oba Obinrin Olosun of Ijesaland, Mama Osunlewa Ololade Senge while prayers were offered by Bamisegun (Dr) Ifafunso Omilegan.

The newly installed Aare was later led in a procession to ipebi with open display of paraphernalia of the Omo Elegbes amidst drumming and dancing.
