Osun Monarch Cheers Iree Poly Former SUG President On Mission to Break Longest Reading Marathon Guinness World Record

The Elerinmo of Erinmo Ijesaland, Osun State, His Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Micheal Odunayo Ajayi, Arowotawaya II, has on Thursday visited Ajao Samson, also known as Impeccable to encourage him in his bid to break the Guinness World Record for the longest reading marathon.

Ajao Samson, a former Students’ Union President of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, is on a mission to set a new record of 214-hour non stop reading to break the Guinness World Record for the longest reading marathon.

Samson started reading at Adolak Conference Hall in Osogbo, Osun State capital, on Monday, May 6, and is expected to conclude on May 14, 2024.

His target will put him over the current record holder, Rysbai Isakov of Kyrgyzstan in Bursa, Turkey, who read aloud for 124 hours from September 22 to 27, 2022. 

Earlier, the wife of the Governor of Osun State, Ngozi Adeleke, and the Coordinator of Imole Youth Corps from the Osun State Ministry of Youth Affairs, Chief Johnson Oyedele, also visited Ajao to offer their encouragement.
