AJIBOLA FAMUREWA PREACHES PEACE, WARNS AGAINST POLITICS OF BITTERNESS AS MUSLIMS CELEBRATE EID EL KABIR

Nigerians have been urged to eschew politics of bitterness and embrace peace as the general election is fast approaching, while some states will be having their governorship election.

Former House Of Representatives Member and a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Honourable Israel Ajibola Famurewa stated this in a statement he personally signed to congratulate Muslims and Nigerians at large on the celebration of this year's Eid-el-Kabir.

He said the Eid-el-Kabir festival exemplifies the virtues of love and sacrifice as some of the pillars for existence of humanity, therefore the need for Muslim faithful and all Nigerians to epitomise the spirit of love for the continuous prosperity of the country.

Honourable Famurewa said love for one another regardless of political affiliation, tribe, culture and religion will set the nation on the right path, adding that a nation can only develop where there is peace.

He urged Osun residents to continue to promote oneness particularly neighboring communities, pleading that all forms of border clashes should cease.
