Stop Promoting Disharmony Among Our Respectable Governorship Aspirants - Osun APC Cautions Adeleke, PDP

The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has  sounded a note of warning to the state chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that if the leadership of the ruling party thinks that it can distract the governorship aspirants of the party for its own advantage, it is making a very big mistake.

We are not unaware of the fact that there is no length that the sinking PDP cannot contemplate giving a trial to cause cataclysm in the opposition APC that has been working day and night for the ejection of Governor Ademola Adeleke from the Bola Ige House in 2026.

It would be recalled that the reactionary elements in the state have been falling over one another twisting the content of the video recording statement credited to the national secretary of our party, Senator Ajibola Bashiru who is one of the governorship aspirants of our party for the next year's election.

It was observed that the leaders and members of the PDP who have rolled out the drums over the incident are grossly lacking in the comprehension of the statement credited to our national secretary as it was more of a reiteration that nothing would hinder the ongoing constitutional plans of chasing Governor Adeleke back to his base in the United States of America in 2026.

The incident which was a fallout of the press conference organized by the State Working Committee of the APC led by me was originally called to address the use of the Amotekun Corps by the state Governor Adeleke to victimize, oppress and suppress the members and supporters of the opposition at Itaapa in the Atakumosa-East  Local Government Council Area in the state.

The PDP elements who are being unsettled by the hitches being experienced by them at the ongoing legal battle on the issue of the federal government allocations for the reinstated APC local government council chairmen and councillors are definitely not at ease with the development and have subsequently looking for a pound of flesh to cause acrimony among our respectable governorship aspirants.

We have solace in the fact that the Osun State leadership of the PDP has failed in its mission to paint some of the opposition APC leaders as being antagonistic to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his choice of his guests either in personal or official capacity.

President Tinubu remains the national constitutional  leader of all and sundry irrespective of political leaning, religious beliefs and tribal background whose actions and inactions in the office has been entrenching peace and harmony not only among the members of the political class but all and sundry.

I make bold to state unequivocally that the video recording of the event and the diatribe credited to Senator Ajibola Bashiru is not representative of what he is saying by the busy body naysayers who are only interested in the disintegration of our party which God has denied them of carrying out.

The said recorded video statement  is over-bloated and twisted for an ulterior motive by the peddlers and it's a undeniable dirty concocted propaganda stratagem woven together by the PDP agents to deliberately promote disunity, disaffection and discord among some of the APC voices who are constitutionally  working assiduously to dislodge the disoriented Governor Ademola Adeleke from the Bola Ige House in 2026.

On this note, I am assuring our ever loyal members and tumultuous supporters that the message of rift being peddled by the media e-rats of the Osun State PDP should be discountenanced so as not to distract our collective efforts to send the minimalist and rudderless Governor Adeleke out of power in 2026.
