The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Adewale Rashid Akanbi of Iwo Land has reaffirmed his commitment and dedication to Olodumare, the Supreme Creator and ultimate source of power in the Yoruba religion.
He stated this in a Facebook post to mark his birthday.
Born on June 21, 1967 at Iwo in Osun State and hails Molaasan compound of Gbaase ruling house in Isale Oba, Iwo, Osun State. Oluwo clocked 58 today.
He said, “What and who could I still fear @58 except Olodumare, My Creator?
"I reaffirm my commitment and dedication to Olodumare, King of kings, Makers, Alpha, Omega, the end, the beginning, the finisher, the promoter, the guard, protector, guardian etc.
"God has been so kind to me. He enthrones me and provides all the paraphernalia of kingship, to be unique and restore the glory of monarchy by resigning only to Him.
"This Honourable path will continually be respected without fear. At 58, no one to fear except God.
"Happy birthday to me."
