The Class of 1970/75 of the Atakumosa High School Old Students Association, (AHSOSA), home and in the diaspora, will hold its 50th anniversary of leaving the school on Friday.
According to Sir Gbenga Babalola-Ojo Director of Socials for the set and the spokesperson for the anniversary planning committee, the activities for the celebration include the presentation of the school's N20 million perimeter fencing with the school Gate construction projects as the AHSOSA National President, Chief Alhaji Lateef Bakare, Ajirowa Adimula of Ijesaland will also be commissioning a Corpers' Lodge.
Other programs of the event shall feature proposing toasts to His Excellency late Chief Ade Adefarati who was the Principal of the School for a period of eight years and eight months and the teachers/instructors of the set. Goodwill messages will be presented and awards will be given out.
The occasion where the Chairperson of the set Mrs. Kofoworola Ogunbiyi-Ajelabi will be presenting the set members will feature other distinguished dignitaries including Sir (Engr.) Oluyemi Oguntominiyi as the Chairman of the occasion and Sir (Chief) Oluwabunmi Adeleye Adeoye as the Chief Launcher.
