Chaired by the Salotun of Ilesa, Chief Disu Oyedele, the committee is tasked with investigating complaints levied against his chiefs by the people of Ijesaland, examining controversies surrounding some chieftaincy titles, and boundary disputes with neighboring towns and villages.

He directed the general public to forward their complaints to the committee via the secretary, Likoti of Ikoti, Chief Olaniyi, for a fair hearing.

Owa Adesuyi Haastrup declared zero tolerance for cultism and other crimes, promising to support the police in their efforts to make Ijesaland uninhabitable for criminals.

He applauded the Ilesa Area Commander of Police for maintaining peace in Ilesa and its environs on the seventh of this month, a day that was previously marked by fear due to cultist activities.

Speaking through the Ajirowa of Ijesaland, Chief Lateef Bakare, Owa  Clement Haastrup urged the Christ body to pray for Ijesaland as the Cherubim and Seraphim churches begin to prepare for the celebration of their centenary anniversary celebration.
