By 10:00 AM, the Gold City Event Centre, Ilesa, will welcome traditional rulers, dignitaries, friends, family, community leaders, and well-wishers to a landmark occasion in honour of the Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, on his 70th birthday celebration.
The day’s highlight will be the Official Launching of IDF and Presentation of ICDA–IDF Cheques to the Ward Executives in the six Local Government Areas of Ijesaland, an epoch-making ceremony to be royally presided over by our Most Revered Owa Obokun Adimula and Paramount Ruler of Ijesaland, His Imperial Majesty, Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup, Ajimoko III

As part of this historic event, the gathering will also feature a Birthday Symposium on the theme “IDF Project Operations and Management”. In his dual role as celebrant and guest lecturer, Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi will share an inspiring keynote address, breaking down the operational framework of the Ijesa Development Fund (IDF), the strategies for its transparent management, and its vision for delivering transformative infrastructure, economic, and social growth across the land. His address will serve as both a masterclass in sustainable community development and a rallying call for all stakeholders to play active roles in shaping the future of Ijesaland.
The ICDA–IDF, a legacy initiative conceived by Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, will take a giant leap forward at this launch as the Ward Executives, in the Six Local Government Areas of Ijesaland, receives the first wave of funding.
With the royal seal of His Imperial Majesty and the presence of the community’s most distinguished Sons and Daughters,* the moment will stand as a public pledge to *transparency, accountability, and inclusivity in the use of community resources.
