The Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee, working together with traditional rulers and chiefs across Ijesaland, has announced the launch of the Iwude Ijesa Beauty Pageant 2025, billed as “Miss Ijesa 2025.” The event, one of the activities lined up for the 2025 edition of the Iwude Ijesa festival is sponsored by His Imperial Majesty Owa Clement Adesuyi Haastrup (Ajimoko III) is scheduled to take place on Friday, 19 December 2025 at the Owa Ajimoko Palace in Ilesa.
The pageant aims to celebrate the beauty, intelligence and heritage of Ijesa youth. Eligible participants are undergraduate students and recent graduates from any university, college or polytechnic within the six local government areas of Ijesaland. Candidates must present a valid school ID and proof of state of origin.
Prize Structure
- 1st place: ₦1,000,000
- 2nd place: ₦350,000
- 3rd place: ₦150,000
