The residence of Professor and Mrs. Foluso Okunmadewa on Awolowo Avenue, near Obokun Guest House, Ilesa, Osun State, came alive on Friday morning, December 26, 2025, as family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered for the 17th edition of the annual Fellowship and Celebration of Jesus.

The yearly event, which has become a cherished tradition, brought together esteemed elders, relatives, and associates to give thanks to God for life, preservation, and divine victories recorded over the years. Participants reflected on the year 2025 as one marked by triumphs and blessings despite its challenges, with testimonies of good health, progress, and elevation shared among attendees.

Delivering the exhortation at the fellowship was Pastor Olumide Daramola of the New Covenant Church, Onireke, Ibadan, Oyo State. In his message, Pastor Daramola urged believers to “number their days” and continually return God’s glory to Him. He reminded the congregation that humanity remains “more than conquerors,” having overcome each day of the year by God’s grace. Quoting scriptures including Isaiah 42:8 and Psalm 42, he emphasized thanksgiving, praise, and gratitude as vital responses to God’s goodness, stressing that praise should replace discouragement regardless of circumstances.

The fellowship also featured moments of recognition and thanksgiving for notable milestones.
