The Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Yinka Fasuyi, has extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Oba (Engr.) Moses Olufemi Agunsoye, the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa, on the occasion of his birthday, celebrated on Friday, January 24, 2026.
In a goodwill message, Fasuyi described the Elegboro as a monarch of exceptional pedigree, intellectual depth, refined character, and uncommon passion for development, noting that his reign has been marked by enlightened kingship, visionary leadership, inclusiveness, and unwavering commitment to the holistic progress of Ijebu-Jesa.
He commended the monarch for successfully blending royal authority with professional engineering expertise, moral integrity, and compassionate leadership, which, according to him, have been deployed selflessly to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development within the community.
Fasuyi also highlighted Oba Agunsoye’s role as a distinguished and highly respected member of the Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA), stating that his thoughtful, pragmatic, and impactful interventions have consistently strengthened the Assembly’s developmental ideals and institutional credibility.
The Asiwaju of Ijesaland further recalled the monarch’s acceptance and outstanding performance as Chairman-General of his 70th guest-based birthday celebration, describing it as a clear demonstration of humility, organisational brilliance, and regal elegance. He noted that the Elegboro’s leadership infused the event with dignity, harmony, and lasting significance.
According to Fasuyi, the Elegboro of Ijebu-Jesa exemplifies progressive and visionary traditional leadership that harmonises ancestral heritage with modern development philosophy, authority with accessibility, and power with empathy.
