Hon. Olusola Mercy Fadare, Chairperson of Atakumosa East Central Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Iwara, on Sunday, October 18, 2026, served as the Mother of the Day at the Juvenile Harvest and Thanksgiving Service of the Cathedral Church of St. John, Iloro, Ilesa, Osun State.
The thanksgiving service, organised by the Diocese of Ilesa, Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), was held under the theme, “Harvest of Overflowing Abundance.”
Hon. Fadare was accompanied to the church service by several All Progressives Congress (APC) dignitaries and supporters from Atakumosa East Local Government Area.
Among those who accompanied her were Hon. Ajibola Israel Famurewa, Hon. Famurewa Oluwatobiloba, Hon. Folarin Fawora, Hon. Femi Oyeleye, Hon. Akinwole-Idris Abiodun Helen, Hon. Okedairo Oluwakemi and Hon. Oladejo Ganiyat, alongside other APC members and supporters.
The Juvenile Harvest and Thanksgiving is an occasion dedicated to expressing gratitude to God and celebrating the children and young people of the church, while encouraging their spiritual growth and commitment to Christian values.
The presence of Hon. Fadare and the other political dignitaries added colour to the annual religious gathering, which brought together worshippers to give thanks to God for His blessings and faithfulness.
The service took place at the Cathedral Church of St. John, Iloro, Ilesa, under the spiritual leadership of The Very Revd. A. M. Fademi, the Provost of the Cathedral.
