The residence of Chief Akinwande Akinola, fondly known as Baba Sawe, was aglow with warmth, joy and celebration as family members, friends, associates and dignitaries gathered to honour the respected elder statesman on the occasion of his 87th birthday.
The atmosphere was lively and cordial, reflecting the goodwill, love and admiration Chief Akinola has earned over the years. Guests exchanged pleasantries, shared fond memories and joined in celebrating a life marked by experience, service and enduring relationships.
As a guest at the memorable gathering, I seized the occasion to capture some beautiful moments in photographs, documenting the presence of dignitaries and other well-wishers who came to celebrate with the revered octogenarian.
Beyond the birthday felicitations, the gathering provided an opportunity for meaningful interactions, warm reunions and expressions of appreciation for a man whose milestone birthday offered another reason to celebrate life, friendship and community.
The photographs capture some of the dignitaries and special moments that added colour to the celebration, preserving memories of a joyful occasion in honour of Chief Akinwande Akinola at 87.
Happy 87th Birthday to Baba Sawe! May his new year be filled with sound health, renewed strength, peace and many more years of fruitful living.
