The former Commissioner for Works in Osun State, Hon Oluremi Omowaiye Oluremi has called on Ijesas across religious and political divides to help forces together to reawaken the innate creative prowess of the renowned veteran actor Prince Adeniyi Ademokoya aka Ajewole Baba Ijesa who is undergoing rehabilitation.
Hon. Omowaiye made the call during an impromptu visit to the veteran actor at his Ayeso family house.
In a conversation between the two that made the people in his entourage laugh, Honourable Omowaiye praised Ajewole Baba Ijesa for having a great sense of humour and promised to coordinate with his team to ensure his prompt return to the air.
He reiterated that his team would start renovating the comedian/broadcaster's residence, which is now in a state of disrepair, starting from next week.
Empathizing with the management of Gold FM on the fire that decimated the engineering section of the station, destroying transmission equipment, the former Commissioner pledged to alert his 'boss' to the incident for prompt intervention.
He expressed regret that the situation momentarily slowed Baba Ijesa's progress and gave the seasoned actor some advice on how to handle the unexpected situation.
