The 2nd Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee meeting in year 2023 was held on Friday 29th September, 2023 at the Iwude Ijesa Permanent Secretariat, Okemese, Adimula Palace Square, Ilesa where important issues related to the 2023 edition of the festival were discussed
And on Monday 2nd October, 2023, members also had strategic meeting with all the twelve caretaker chairmen of Ijesaland local government areas at the same venue as all serving local government chairmen are automatic members of the Iwude Ijesa Planning Committee.
At the meetings the draft program of events and the sub-committee list were reviewed. The programme of events shall feature Meeting with Club and Societies, Jumat Prayer, Programmes on Radio, Special Church Service, Football matches, Inter School Debate, Ayo.Game, Cultural Day, Marathon Race and the Grand Finale coming up on Saturday, 23rd December, 2023.
The meetings Presided over by Chief Afolabi Igbaroola had in attendance the Lumobi of Imobi-Ijesa, Oba Dr. Adetayo Haastrup, Erelu Wale Bolarinwa, Mr. Tijani Usman a.k.a. General, Mr. Isaac Haastrup, Hon. Adegbola Benson, Hon. Akintola Akinyele, Mr. Akin Ajayi-Obe, Mrs. Victoria Oluwaseun Odewusi, Chief Olusoji Fasipe.

Vice Chairman Council for Art and Culture, Mr. Akin Seyi Orolugbagbe led all the caretaker Council Chairmen to the meeting.
