Re: Thousands of Oyetola's IleriOluwa Members To Join Omoluabi Caucus

Our attention has been drawn to a publication to the effect that thousands of IleriOluwa Caucus in the Osun All Progressives Congress (APC) would be joining the Omoluabi Caucus of Ex-Governor Rauf Aregebola.

Whereas we would have ignored such announcement for it is a mere attention seeking venture of some discredited and politically frustrated characters, however for the benefit of the teeming lovers of our party and unsuspecting members of the public who could be misinformed by the content of the publication, we would state the following to dispel the plot designed to project our party as fractionalized:

1. There is no Caucus or Group within the All Progressives Congress, Osun state chapter. We are one, indivisible entity led by Chief Bisi Akande, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola and Sooko Tajudeen Lawal. So the idea of moving from one caucus to another does not arise.

2. The characters linked to the so-called de-camping have since ceased to be part of us as they have either been expelled or suspended for grievous allegation bordering on anti-party activities.

3. The Leader of the purported decampees, Mr Segun Olanibi, specifically, was part of the Rauf Aregebola group who worked with the Peoples Democratic Party to undermine our party in the 2022 governorship election and in the 2023 presidential, national and state assembly elections.

4. Olanibi and his team did not only work against the APC in the 2022 and 2023 elections, they allegedly colluded with the leaders of the opposition to kidnap, attack and murder members and supporters of our party in Atakumosa and across Ijesaland. 

5. It is strange that after the quislings and traitors have divorced themselves from us, they still move around to claim membership of our party.

6. We have since left the traitors behind and moved on without them.

7. However, we are happy that the disgruntled elements are now bold enough to announce their official joining of the Rauf Aregbesola group, a recruitment group for the Osun PDP. 

8. We wish them well in their future endeavours.
