The entire leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijesa South Federal Constituency have sent a message of appreciation to the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, HE Adegboyega Oyetola as today marks the second year that he publicly hearkened to the desire of Ijesaland of having a University in Ilesa.
Today in history at the commissioning of Ijesaland Geriatric centre on Thursday 31st March, 2022, Adegboyega Oyetola, then governor of Osun state announced to the world the birth of the University of Ilesa.
A press release e-Signed by Chief Kunle Odeyemi, APC leader in Ijesaland reads in part:
"Ijesa people shall forever remain grateful to former Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for his love for Ijesaland.
"His passion is evident and every true born Ijesa sons and daughters can attest to that, he is the best governor to our community and we thank you for choosing to honor the heart desire of Ijesa people.
"God has truly used you to bless us with such an amazing gift. May God grant you grace and strength to continue the good work.
"Thank you for being a role model to so many of us in the APC as the University of Ilesa is one of the fruits of your labor and we shall forever be grateful for your humble service."
