The Executive Director Engineering Services at the Ogun-Oshun River Basin Development Authority (OORBDA), Hon. Kayode Sowade has described the former Speaker of the Osun House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Adigun Owoeye as a true democrat and an embodiment of progressive ideology.

This was contained in a congratulatory statement personally signed by the Executive Director in commemoration of the ex-speaker's 53rd birthday celebration.

Sowade lauded Owoeye for providing quality leadership within the Assembly, an action which birth a rancour free 6th Assembly. He further praised the Ijesha-Born politician as a quality team player whose contributions has contributed to the growth and development of Osun.

"I celebrate the impactful leadership of Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, an asset of inestimable value to the progressives in Osun, a great team player and contributor to the growth and development of our dear Osun State. Rt. Hon. Owoeye's leadership have continually served as an inspiration to many progressives in the state, his journey within the progressives speaks of consistency, steadfastness, loyalty and commitment. The former Speaker can best be described as an Icon of the Progressive tendency. Today, I celebrate his unwavering commitment to advancing the progressive ideology. Sowade remarked.

The Modakeke-Born politician also lauded Owoeye for his life of selfless service to Osun through his years in the state's legislature, rising from the minority leader, to becoming the majority leader and ultimately the speaker of the Assembly. He noted that these years of service shaped and enhanced the growth and economic prosperity witnessed by the state in recent times, tagging Owoeye as an exemplary public servant who prioritize's the states development and welfare of citizens over personal gains.

"Congratulations to an incredible leader par excellence. I wish you the very best of the year and pray for continued grace in your service to God, our party the All Progressives Congress, Osun and Nigeria". Sowade prayed.
