The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday declared businessman and son-in-law to ex-Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, Abdullahi Bashir Haske, wanted.
In a public notice signed by the commission’s Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale, and posted on its x.com handle, the EFCC announced the 38-year-old businessman is wanted for a case of “criminal conspiracy and money laundering”.
“The public is hereby notified that Abdullahi Bashir Haske, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the EFCC in an alleged case of criminal conspiracy and money laundering,” the notice read.
The EFCC gave Haske’s last known address as No. 6 Mosley Road, Ikoyi, and 952/953 Idejo Street, Victoria Island, Lagos State, and appealed to Nigerians to assist in locating him by contacting any of its offices nationwide, including in Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
