The activities of the celebration of Asiwaju Olayinka Fasuyi, first Asiwaju of Ijesaland's 70th birthday entered it fourth of the nine-day scheduled activities on Monday with a Visit to patients in OAUTH, Wesley Guild hospital, School for the Physically Challenged Children, Ilesa, Osun State in the morning and a Cultural Day at the Aromolaran Event Hall, Owa Obokun Adimula Palace Square, Ilesa, in the afternoon.

The event of the afternoon was significantly marked with intense and joyous cultural displays as different groups cut across Ijesaland and Ekiti state celebrated the day by showcasing the rich heritage of the Ijesa and Ekiti people with the beats of traditional music that made everyone wanted to dance.
The birthday celebrant, resplendent in his traditional regalia, was an epitome of African elegance and the family appeared in batik designed native attire with the name of Olayinka Fasuyi in bold display.
The celebration featured traditional dances, music performances, and comedy, showcasing the diversity and richness of Yoruba culture, an idea put together by the celebrant to enhance the sense of unity and merriment.
The displays featured Onilu Owa groups, Egungun edè from Ijan Ekiti, Ekiti State, Ewi by Mama Iyiola Deborah, Adamo Ijesa by Akanni Aliu, comedy by Jinadu Were baba sakaworo, Ijesa rap music by Niran Babs, Adeyemo Ayanwale talking drum, Ijala Ode Gbenga Akamo, Egungun dance and ibembe music by Ajileye Iwara-Ijesa
Guests were treated to local cuisine with delicacies such ofada rice, akara balls, Kango, porridge, pounded yam, palm wine to mention a few.
And It was a truly an unforgettable celebration that left everyone in attendance feeling proud and connected to their heritage!
