Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyl @70... Greatness Defined as Adeleke 0. Agbola commends Yeye Asiwaju Fasuyis support.. Spots Celebrant's Ability to Unite Ijesa People Using tireless work ethic

‎"Be not afraid of goodness, Some are born great, some achieve greatness and others have greatness thrust upon them" William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night -

‎Sometimes in 2019, my name was added to a committee of ljesa elites to arrange a befitting 80th birthday for the Sawe of llesa, Chief Akin Akinola who was my Managing Director at International Breweries Plc, llesa in 1981 when I was a lowly audit clerk. I agreed to contribute and at the end of the birthday ceremonies, quite a significant amount of money was left behind and some  our compatriots started brainstorming on what to do with the unexpended money.

Many ideas were floated but through the leadership qualities of the celebrant of today, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi, the committee decided on building an ultra modern Owa Obokun Adimula palace.

‎As usual with the ljesas, a lot of money was still left after the completion of the Palace and Asiwaju Fasuyi once again championed the conceptualization and building of the 2nd geriatric hospital in Nigeria named ljesaland Geriatric Centre in record time.

‎Since I have known the Asiwaju, he has always been a champion of unity in ljesaland and I daresay that whenever the modem history of ljesaland is written, his name will be written in gold for the giant strides made in ljesaland either under his leadership or with his support in‎ infrastructural, social and cultural development.

‎The Asiwaju is a tireless worker, and l must salute his amiable wife. Yeye Asiwaju, Dr. Olubisi Fasuyi for her steadfast love and total support to her husband.

‎The ease with which Asiwaju remembers the names of all our traditional rulers across ljesaland and their various communities is a testament to his industry and versatility.

‎As a member of the illustrious Fasuyi Family, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi was born great, he has achieved greatness in all the areas of lives he has applied himself to and he has had greatness thrust upon him by the entirety of the ljesa people.

‎On behalf of my wife, Princess Adetoro Agbola and my entire family, I wish the Asiwaju gbogboria ni ule Ujesa many happy returns of the day.

‎A seyi samodun o.

Signed:

‎ADELEKE 0. AGBOLA, S.A.N, FCArb

‎Chancellor, Ijesa North (Anglican) Diocese.
