Wednesday, in Ilesa, Osun state, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) commenced the 2025 Ember Months Public Enlightenment Campaign with the theme “Take Responsibility For Your Safety, Stop Distracted Driving.”
The flag-off, led by the ACC Bashiru A Jimoh, Unit Commander of RS 11.12, Ilesa Unit, Command kicked off at the Ilesa Ereja roundabout as part of renewed efforts to curb road traffic crashes during the festive season.
Addressing motorists and commuters, ACC Bashiru A Jimoh urged motorists to abide by rules and regulations and avoid overspeeding in order to avoid road accidents on our highways
The sensitization program featured public education, distribution flyers and interactive sessions with road users.
