The Ilesa Grammar School Old Students Association (ILEGSOSA) has congratulated Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu, a distinguished alumna, on her 80th birthday.
In statement signed by Engr., Sir (Dr.) Obisesan Daramola ,ILEGSOSA, National President the association praised Alhaja Sinatu Aderoju Ojikutu for her courage, trailblazing achievements, and compassion for the less privileged.
The association expressed pride in her achievements and thanked her for her support of the school's legacy project, the construction of the National Secretariat for old students. They pray for her good health, long life, and prosperity for her children.

Your Excellency,
I write on behalf of all old students of Ilesa Grammar School to congratulate you on this occasion of your 80th Birthday, today 23rd October 2025.
Huge Congratulations.
We note that, from your early days, you have demonstrated in-born courage to face life with fortitude, a special quality of Omoluabis.
At less than ten years, when the situation demanded, you, alone, with no guide, and late into the dark, trekked from Ado-Ekiti to Iyin Ekiti a distance over 11 kilometers ! !
Since, you have been a courageous trail-blazer. Some Sixty years ago, you were among the pioneer set of Higher School Certificate Students in our Alma Mater, Ilesa Grammar School.
You were the first female to be appointed Executive Director, Nigerian Bank of Industry.
Later, you became the first female Deputy Governor of Lagos, and of course, the first female to attain such political height in Nigeria.
We note, especially, that in all your strides and engagements, you showed, and persuade others to show feelings and compassion, indeed empathy, for the less privileged and the poor.
This is the reason that has persuaded you to step down all celebrations and declare your 80th Birthday for sobriety, supplication and prayers across Nigeria.
Besides stepping down celebrations, you directed all gifts are deployed to help the poor people around us.
This specially unique trait, stands you out and tall, among the present leadership in Nigeria.
For all the above and more, we cherish you, we appreciate you. We are proud, you are one of us.
We thank you for your gesture during the 90th anniversary of our school, last year 2024.
We particularly thank and appreciate you for your support for our Legacy Project, the on-going construction of the National Secretariat for old Students.
You asked nothing from all, but prayers.
We pray Almighty Allah will grant you good health in long life.
Your children shall prosper.
You will never know bitter over your loved ones.
Once again, Big Congratulations.
