The Elere of Ere-Ijesa in Oriade LG ,Osun State, HRM Oba Augustine Adenipekun Alowolodu, Alowolodu III, has stripped Chief Morakinyo Hezekiah Bolorunduro the chieftaincy title of Bobajiro of Ere-Ijesa. This decision was made during a recent Elere-in-Council meeting, which marked the maiden attendance of the newly installed High Chief Onibonoje Oluwagbenga Olanrewaju, the Adaado Of Ere-Ijesa.
The Elere cited the former Bobajiro's controversial stance on the Adaado chieftaincy matter as one of the reasons for his removal.
In his remarks at the meeting, the Elere expressed gratitude for the patience exhibited by all the people of Ere-Ijesa during the seven-year selection process for the Adaado position and urged residents to live in peace.
High Chief Oyebanji Ojo, the Odofin of Ere-Ijesa, welcomed the new Adaado to the meeting of Elere In Council and congratulated the Elere on the successful installation process.

The meeting was attended by several high-ranking chiefs, including the Orisa, Saba, Ejemu, and Iyaloja of Ere-Ijesa to mention a few.
The Elere-in-Council meeting noted and commended the Elere's commitment to tradition and good governance in Ere-Ijesa and for acting in accordance to the constitutional duties bestowed upon him as the prescribed authority in line with Section 24(1) of the Chiefs Law, Cap 25, Laws of Osun State.
