The OBA TITUS FOLORUNSO ADEWALE FOUNDATION (OTFA) has announced a rich and impactful three-day programme lined up for the 2025 holiday season, aimed at celebrating cultural heritage, improving community health, and supporting grassroots development across Ijesaland.
The series of events, scheduled to run from Saturday, December 27 to Monday, December 29, 2025, marks the Foundation’s continued commitment to legacy building, social responsibility, and community empowerment in Osun State.
The programme will kick off on Saturday, December 27, 2025, with the 2nd edition of the Oba Titus Folorunso Adewale Memorial Annual Lecture, holding at 12 noon at the Ofokutu Royal Hall, H 139A, Iroye Street, Ilesa.
With the theme “Honoring Our Heritage as Foundation for Multi-Generational Legacy,” the lecture is expected to spark deep reflections on culture, values, and sustainable legacy. The event will feature Segun Babs Babalola as the keynote speaker, drawing cultural enthusiasts, scholars, traditional leaders, and community stakeholders.
The momentum continues on Sunday, December 28, 2025, with the maiden edition of the OTFA Health Fair, scheduled for 2:00 pm, also at the Ofokutu Royal Hall, Ilesa. A major highlight of the health fair is a Breast Cancer Awareness Talk to be delivered by Dr. Faith Adewale.
The outreach will further provide free eye tests, free diabetic kits, and general medical checkups, reinforcing OTFA’s focus on preventive healthcare and accessible medical services for the people.
The three-day programme will conclude on Monday, December 29, 2025, with a Community Development Donation and Charity Event in support of the Ijemba-Ijesa Electrification Project. The event is scheduled for 10:00 am at the Community Hall, Ijemba-Ijesa, Osun State, and is expected to attract community leaders, residents, and development partners committed to rural transformation.
According to the Foundation, the holiday programme is designed not only to honor the memory and ideals of Oba Titus Folorunso Adewale, but also to translate those ideals into practical interventions that uplift lives and strengthen communities.
Members of the public, community stakeholders, and well-wishers are encouraged to participate in the three-day event and be part of a meaningful celebration of heritage, health, and hope.
