The Ilesa East Local Government Area of Osun State has ushered in the year 2026 with an interfaith prayer session, as staff of the council gathered to seek divine guidance and blessings for the new year.
The prayer session, which took place at the Council Secretariat in Iyemogun, Ilesa, brought together Christian and Muslim faithful from within and outside the local government area. The event was championed by the Executive Chairman of the council, Hon. Lanre Balogun.
