Sir Kunle Odeyemi (KSJ), the Balogun Ijo of St. John Cathedral Church, Iloro, Ilesa who doubles as the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijesaland, clocked 80 years on Wednesday, January 15, 2026, and the day was marked with a Holy Communion and thanksgiving service held at his Fadahunsi Avenue residence in Imo, Ilesa.
The celebration attracted chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across Ijesaland, alongside family members, church leaders, associates, and well-wishers, who gathered to honour the elder statesman and acknowledged leader of the party in the zone.
Several notable personalities attended the morning Christian service, offering prayers and goodwill messages in appreciation of Chief Odeyemi’s contributions to the church, community development, and political advancement in Ijesaland.
The birthday celebration continues on Friday, January 16, 2025, with a Thanksgiving Service at St. John Cathedral Church, Iloro, Ilesa, scheduled for 11:00am. A reception will follow immediately at Zenabab Hotels and Resorts, Ilo-Ayegunle.
