‎
‎I warmly felicitate the people of Osun State and all Nigerians on our nation’s 66th independence anniversary.
‎
‎Fulfilling the promise of independence remains our shared responsibility: building a fairer, healthier and more prosperous society. As I emphasise in my lecture, “Beyond the Boom,” we must turn temporary revenue windfalls into lasting gains—productive infrastructure, quality education, accessible healthcare, thriving industries and opportunities for our young people.
‎
‎For Osun State, my vision of reconstruction, revitalisation, reinforcement and resourcefulness reflects this commitment: building a peaceful, united and productive state where development improves everyday lives.
‎
‎Let us look ahead with hope and act with purpose. The greatest anniversary gift we can give Nigeria is a better future for its people.
‎
‎Happy 66th Independence Anniversary to Nigeria and all Nigerians!
‎
