Senator Fadahunsi Celebrates Nigeria at 66

Senator Francis Adenigba Fadahunsi, OFR, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Industries and representative of Osun East Senatorial District, has congratulated Nigerians at home and abroad on the occasion of Nigeria’s 66th Independence Anniversary.

In a statement issued by his Head of Media and Public Enlightenment, Omole Oluwasegun Omo-Osodi, Senator Fadahunsi called for national unity and urged Nigerians to remain committed to working together for the collective progress and development of the country.

The Ijesa-born lawmaker also encouraged continued support for the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting the potential of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Let us continue to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to actualize his policies and programmes. He has good intentions for Nigeria. We will get it right,” he said.

Senator Fadahunsi further called on Nigerians to rise above ethnic, religious, and regional differences and work collectively to address the nation’s challenges.

“On this Independence Day, let us commit ourselves to Nigeria’s unity and collective improvement. Regardless of ethnic, religious, or regional differences, we must see each other as brothers and sisters.

“Together, we should focus on growing the economy, creating jobs, feeding the hungry, educating our youth, caring for the sick, and protecting our people from those who wish to harm us.”

The Senator noted that, in his assessment, the effects of President Tinubu’s economic reforms are becoming evident, while also pointing to what he described as significant improvements in national security over the past three years.

He also urged residents of Osun East Senatorial District to participate in the electoral process and come out en masse on January 16, 2027, to vote for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidates.

Senator Fadahunsi concluded by calling on Nigerians to remember the sacrifices of the country’s founding fathers and recommit themselves to the ideals of unity, peace, justice, and tolerance.

“Happy Independence Day to all Nigerians. As we mark 66 years, let us remember the sacrifices of our founding fathers and recommit to their ideals of unity, peace, justice, and tolerance.

“Though challenges remain, with God’s grace, Nigeria will overcome and emerge stronger.”
