It was the mobilisation prowess of Asiwaju Fasuyi that staved off the darkness that would have engulfed Ijesaland and parts of Ekiti state for a protracted period.
He had earlier floated a Charity Foundation, AYFF which facilitated the payment of the WAEC fees for about 2500 Secondary School final year students across Ijesaland.
The same Asiwaju midwifed the first summit of traditional rulers in Ijesaland held at Ifewara in March, 2019. This unity gathering put paid to the historical dichotomy between the Ijesa North and Ijesa South. Till date, the bond is waxing stronger.
For administrative convenience, Asiwaju crafted Ijesa Community Development Assembly (ICDA) as an umbrella body for project execution and programme management.

The 2nd Summit of the Ijesa Traditional rulers hosted in Ijebujesa on the 6th November, 2019.
The establishment of Ijesa Mineral Resources Development Forum (IMRDF ) as a counterforce to the despoilation of Ijesaland ecosystem by illegal miners on the 10th of May, 2020.
Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi initiated and mobilized 102 Ijesa Patriots for the construction of the Ultra modern Owa Obokun Adimula Palace within a record time of 9months in an atmosphere of ultra transparency and unparalleled accountability notwithstanding the debilitating effect of Covid 19.
Alas, the Palace commissioning on December 26,2020 achieved the tumultuous upgrade of Otun Asiwaju titles to substantive ASIWAJU for both himself and the supportive wife.
Also, it was on the same occasion that Asiwaju Fasuyi tasked Ex-Governor Oyetola to upgrade the Osun State College of Education, Ilesa to a University.
The success of a venture ignites desirability of another.
It was Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi who single handedly pushed for the establishment of the Ijesaland Geriatric Centre following from his encounter with the Tony Anenih Geriatric hospital in ibadan and his desire for longevity for Ijesa elders.
The N1billon project, delivered within 10months was commissioned on March 31, 2022 by His Excellency, Governor Oyetola. The magnificence of the facility was believed to have spurred the Governor's approval of Ilesa University.
Other giant strides of Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi for Ijesaland and humanity include the N17m lifeline mobilised for Ilare-Ijesa in the aftermath of rainstorm that ravaged the community in January, 2023.
He also supported Ijesa youths with a grant of N12m for Agriculture.
His game changing initiative is the introduction of Ijesa Health Insurance Scheme which in two years benefitted 5000 Ijesa elders.
Through his creative impact, 75 Ijesa youths underwent free training with supporting hardware and start-up fund at RLG-Adulawo just as he initiated a working partnership with the Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training School which has produced 123 Ijesa Agripreneurs to date.
To his credit was the birth of Ijesaland Independent Development Monitors to foster responsive and responsible governance from the grassroots upward.
Ijesa Development Fund (IDF), an all-inclusive development participatory model which Asiwaju Fasuyi pioneered in 2025 remains an unprecedented initiative for community development in Nigeria.
In fostering liberalised access to fund for Commerce and petty trading, Asiwaju Yinka Fasuyi championed the establishment of Ijesaland Cooperative Society which is gradually enhancing business outlook in Ijesaland.
On the auspicious milestone of the 10th anniversary of the installation of OLAYINKA LINGTON FASUYI and OLABISI FASUYI as Asiwaju and Yeye Asiwaju respectively, it is clear that the burning passion of Asiwaju Fasuyi for a new Ijesaland desires the support of all.
Perspective charges him to persist without retreating. We also remind Asiwaju that the price of greatness is sacrifice, discipline and humility. Achievers are team players with large heart.
