Owoeye Speaks On His Emergence As Osun Speaker

The Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye, on Monday 24th of June, 2019, eulogized the Osun governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola for being on top of the situation in the events that led to his emergence as the Speaker.

He made refrences to the unspeakable situation that followed the elections of the Speakers in Edo State House of Assembly where Governor Godwin Obaseki is in loggerheads with his predecessor, Mr. Adams Oshiomole who is also the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress {APC} and in Bauchi State where two parallel Speakers have emerged.

Owoeye made the remark while receiving in audience the Osun Head of Service, Dr. Festus Olowogboyega Oyebade, who came to congratulate him on his emergence as the 7th Osun Speaker.

The HoS, Dr. Festus Oyebade seized the occasion to present his best wishes and extend a hand of cooperation between his office and the OSHA. He was accompanied on his visit by  the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Lands, Alhaji Tayo Hadssan, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Local Government, Mrs. Folake Bashirat and Mr. Najeem Akintola among others.
