Read as Giwa's Midas Touch Controls the Gully of Idasa 10-10 to Atakunmosa Market Road

With the intense rains over the years some areas of the road that links Idasa Ayeni 10-10 to Atakunmosa Market in Ilesa West Local Government of the State of Osun was washed away by erosion creating a deadly gully.

This road provides a vital link between Itakogun-Idasa and the central market  and many must take the risk of using this very road with a dangerous Junction that is said to be the most dangerous junction in Ilesa city and it took some deadly toll as some vehicles and Okada riders accidentally fell into causing suffering, deaths and damages.

Thanks to the proactiveness of the administration of the Ilesa West Local Government under It's Chairman, Hon. Nurudeen Giwa's move to nip the problem in the bud before it becomes too difficult or unmanageable.

The Ilesa West Council Chairman's motivation to give the reconstruction of this washed away drainage system came from a strong passion to serve, to guarantee the safety of life and property,  to boost the economy, and to make life easier for his constituents.

The ongoing project description include a standard drainage system, the expansion of the road and provision of safety handrail.

Friday the 4th of September, 2019, the Speaker of the State of Osun House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye made a stopover at the site of the reconstruction and gave the Chairman some words of encouragement.
