No fewer than four thugs of the Peoples Democratic Party have been arrested in connection with the assassination attempt on Hon. Folarin Fafowara, Ilesa Central Local Council Development Area and Hon. Wale Adedoyin, member of the Osun State House of Assembly and candidate of APC in the forthcoming election.
Those arrested include Akin Oladipupo ( Ekaino), Sodiq Ogundare, Emmanuel Tony and Olaitan Lowere, their herbalist.
In the same raid, Akeem Quarter, Rotimi Abu ( Amaechi) and Popoola Paul sustained police gun shots while attempting to escape the scene of the melee.

A fast food joint located in Ilesha, De Bukateria, owned by Wale Adedoyin was destroyed in the attacks.
Office of the former Commissioner for Works and Transport in the state, Engr Remi Omowaiye, for the third time in two months, also came under heavy gun attacks.
However, multiple intelligence reports suggest Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has instructed the former Chairman of Ilesa Local Government, Ibukun Fadipe, to see to the immediate release of the arrested thugs.
In the last 24 hours, reports have indicated at least six (6) members of the APC have been assassinated on the instruction of known PDP leaders in the state, most especially Sanya Omirin, PDP House of Representatives Candidate and Senator Ade Fadahunsi, Ife/Ijesa Senatorial Candidate.
