Labour Party Removes Gbadebo Rhodes As Lagos Governorship Candidate Hours To Election

 

The Labour party has dumped Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as the candidate for the party in the Lagos governorship election that will be holding in few hours.

In a letter sighted by our correspondent, it was revealed that the method that brought Gbadebo Rhodes in as the party’s candidate isn’t valid because Professor Ifagbemi Awamaridi was declared winner at the primary elections.

The letter which was also signed by the executives of the party declared that Gbadebo Rhodes has ceased to be the candidate of the party and has been replaced with Prof Ifagbemi who won the election, according to them.
