Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th Kwara House of Assembly females who won during the March 18 state assembly elections have received their certificates of return to be part of 10th Legislative session, SHO PEN ONLINE reports.
According to the elections result announced by INEc, the ruling All Progressives
Congress won 23 out of the 24 seats, while the opposition, the Peoples Democratic Party secured one seat.

Below are the 5 strong women who were able to make it into the 10th Kwara State House of Assembly.
Rukyah Motunrayo Shittu (APC)
Rukayat Shittu clinched the Kwara House of assembly seat after polling 7,521 votes to beat her Peoples Democratic Party rival, who polled 6,957 votes in the Saturday House of Assembly election.
Rukayat will represent Owode/Onire Constituency in Asa Local Government Area of Kwara.
Hajia Arinola Fatimah Lawal (APC)
Hajia Fatima Arinola Lawal, is the daughter of former governor of Kwara, late Alhaji Mohammed Lawal.
Arinola was until recently the Commissioner for Enterprise in the state before she resigned to contest for the elective post.
She had also served in the Ministry of Water Resources in the twilight of the Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq-led administration.
Hajia Maryam Aladi (APC)
Maryam Aladi is a philanthropist from ilorin south local government area of Kwara government area of Kwara State.
Over the years, Aladi has empowered thousands of Kwarans through her foundation “MAY Foundation”.
She will be representing the people of Ilorin South Constituency at the Kwara Assembly.
Medinat AbdulRaheem (APC)
Medinat, a 32 year-old lady from Moro Local Government Area, was elected to represent Lanwa/Ejidongari constituency.
Aishat Babatunde-Alanamu (APC)
Aishat Babatunde-Alanamu who is from Ilorin West local government area of Kwara won for the Ilorin North-West constituency seat.
