The Forum led by it's President, Yusuf Aliyu Babawapa conferred the title of grand patron on the Senate president.
Sen. Godswill Akpabio in his remarks spoke about the importance of the councillors to the nation.
He urged the councillors to be involved in the process of lawmaking through public hearing.
Senator Akpabio urged them not to return to their base without paying a visit to the Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon Tajudeen Abass as well.
He called on the councillors to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he is now thinking Nigeria.
