I would be glad to start by celebrating with you all for witnessing a New Year. It is a thing of joy for us as Youths that we have survived until this time as one indivisible entity despite our many challenges.
As members of Omo Owa Omo Ekun Youths Group of Ijesaland, we must be passionate more than before to working together towards building peace and tranquility throughout the length and breadth of Ijesaland.
The Year 2024 comes with new rays of hope, fresh opportunities for us as individuals and as an Organization. It is a known fact that many tragic incidents happened last year but let's be resolute in our love for our motherland by showing love to each other regardless of what might be our differences.
As we celebrate this New Year, let us show gratitude to everyone who has remained committed to maintaining peace and engineering development in Ijesaland as I pay special tribute to all those who lost their lives last year, may God preserve those of us left behind, Amen.
This Year, I beseech us all to prioritise the imperative of promoting peace and love. This way, Ijesaland can attract investors who are willing to contribute to the socio-economy of Our towns and villages as Ijesaland remains one of the leading Kingdoms in Yorubaland blessed with both human and natural resources.
Once again, I congratulate the Ijesa Youths in particular and all the people of Ijesaland for the new year 2024.
