APC Ijesa Zone lauds Tinubu, Oyetola on appointment of 3 Stalwarts as Chairman, members Governing Boards Federal Colleges of Education






The leadership of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ijesa zone has commended President Bola Tinubu for approving the appointments of three of their members in to the recently constituted Chairmen and members of the Governing Boards of 111 Federal Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education.



The government named former Speaker of the 7th Osun State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye from Ilesa East local government as the Chairman of the Governing Council, Federal College Of Education Special Oyo, Oyo State and Hon. Olatunbosun from Obokun local government as member.


Also, Hon. Israel Ajibola Famurewa, member of 8th and 9th National Assembly who represented Ijesa South Federal Constituency at the Federal House of Representatives was appointed as a member of the governing board of Federal College Of Education Special, Akoka, Lagos State.



In a chat with KAKAKIOODUA correspondent, APC leader in Ijesa zone, Chief Kunle Odeyemi described the trio as a men of virtues that have been tested with political appointments and trusted.


"On behalf of the leadership of the APC in Ijesa zone I want to express my profound gratitude to President Tinubu for finding these members of the party worthy of the appointments.


"I equally wish to appreciate the Honorable Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, who is the leader of the party in Osun state for his noticable contribution at the selection of these Ijesa sons for federal political appointments." Chief Kunle Odeyemi remarked 


He described the appointments as much expected as he prayed for their success in their offices while assuring that he has no doubt in his mind that they would make the nation proud.


"We are humbled by these considerations, but like Oliver Twist, Ijesa zone would always ask for more,” Chief Odeyemi said.
