The Osun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated one of Nigeria’s most respected scholars and public figures, Professor Isaac Folorunso Adewole, on his birthday anniversary.
According to the state chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, the party recognizes Professor Adewole's significant contributions to the nation, especially in education and healthcare.
Lawal described Prof Adewole as a shining example of excellence, whose life and work have brought pride to both Osun State and Nigeria.

"Professor Adewole is a role model and a true ambassador of the state with a remarkable tenure as the former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, where he led Nigeria’s oldest university with great distinction
"The tenure of the scholar as the Honourable Minister of Health under President Muhammadu Buhari, during which he spearheaded vital reforms in the health sector and spareheaded policies that aimed to enhance the wellbeing of Nigerians, still remains memorable.
